Place oats, apple, and milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir and cook for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add more milk if needed during cooking.
Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.
Stir in the spices.
Serve topped with apple slices and pecans.
Pecans are delicious but calorie-heavy. For a lower-calorie version, skip them.
