Creamy Garlic & Bacon Pasta

2 bacon rashers

75g penne pasta

30g light Crème Fraîche

1 chicken stock

3 garlic cloves, crushed

1 red onion, chopped

5 small mushrooms, sliced

salt and pepper to season

Grated parmesan to serve

How To

Cook pasta in boiling water.

Meanwhile, add onions and garlic to a pan and cook until softened.

Add in bacon and mushrooms and cook

Crumble in the chicken stock cube and add 4 tbsp of water to the pan. Stir until a sauce is made then simmer until it thickens. Season with salt and pepper.

Add in Crème Fraîche and stir until combined.

Add in cooked pasta and combine.

Serve with grated parmesan
