Mint Choc Smoothie Bowl

for the smoothie bowl:

40g fresh or frozen spinach leaves

50g fresh or frozen avocado

100g frozen banana

30g chocolate or vanilla flavour whey or plant-based protein powder

2 tsps nut butter of your choice

10 fresh mint leaves

2 tsps cocoa powder

½-1 tsp matcha powder, to taste (optional)

1 tsp cocoa nibs

for the topping (optional):

½ tsp cocoa nibs

a sprinkle of desiccated coconut

How To

Place all of the smoothie bowl ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend well.

Add a splash of almond milk (or milk of your choice) if required, to help the mixture blend.

Transfer to a bowl.

Add the toppings (if using). Serve.

Cover any leftovers and freeze for up to 1 week. Remove from freezer 10-15 minutes before serving.
