The Power Breaky Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 150ml unsweetened almond, oat, or dairy milk
  • ½ banana (fresh or frozen, ~50g)
  • 50g frozen mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, or strawberries)
  • 1 handful baby spinach (≈30g) or kale
  • 2 tbsp rolled oats (≈20g)
  • 2 tbsp low-fat Greek yoghurt (≈30g) or dairy-free yoghurt
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, ~5g)

How to preprare

  • Add milk and yoghurt to the blender first (helps blending).
  • Add banana, berries, spinach, oats, and honey if using.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour into a tall glass and enjoy immediately.

Note

For more protein, swap in Glenisk Protein Yogurt (100g adds ~10g extra protein) or a scoop of protein powder. To make it lighter, use just 1 tbsp oats. To make it more filling, add chia or flax seeds.
